    Indications

    Permanent adhesive luting of indirect restorations (inlays, onlays, crowns, bridges, endodontic posts) made of nobel metal, non-noble metal, PFM | Zirconia, glass ceramic (crowns and bridges) | Fiber reinforced composite (endodontic posts).

    Application

    1. Remove the temporary restoration and carefully clean off any residual temporary luting cement from the cavity or prepared core. Rinse with a water spray. Dry using oil-free air, avoid over drying the dentine.
    2. Verify the accuracy of the fit of the  restoration.
    3. Then clean the restoration thoroughly and pretreat as follows:
    Etchable glass ceramic: 
    Etch the restoration with 5% hydrofluoricacid in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, rinse thoroughly using a water spray and dry using oil-free air, apply silane (e.g. SilanePrimer) in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
    Oxide ceramics, metal sand metal alloys:
    Pre-treat in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Unless otherwise stated, sand blast the inside of the restoration with aluminumoxide (< 50 μm), clean with alcohol, and dry with
    air that is free of oil and water.
    Fiber-reinforced root posts:
    Clean the root post with ethanol, dry with oil-freeair, and apply saline (e.g. Saline Primer) in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
